All black

This is how I looked yesterday. Really love the contrast with blonde hair and an all black outfit, it’s something different than usual. The weather right now is perfect for a leather jacket and spring shoes and I love it. I prefer spring than summer because it allows you to still dress in layers. Even though I look forward to dust of my birckenstocks and sport bare legs.

leather jacket – LXLS, tshirt – H&M trend, pants – Gina Tricot, shoes – Reschia, sunnies – Celine and earrings from H&M.

My new spring shoes are a pair of platform black brogues from the swedish brand Reschia. They have a cute round toe and the platform gives it a cool edge. It’s made of a really nice calf leather and you can feel the amazing quality. Check out more of Reschia shoes here.

Blonde ambition

If you follow me on instagram (@chrystelleeriksberger) you already know that I went blonde this week. I have been dreaming of going blond for a long time but the thought of bleaching and dying my own hair has always frightened me. So when I found this wig I was so happy. It has a lace front witch allows it to blend in perfectly with my hairline. I am so happy with the result.

This wig is made out of syntetic hair but is heat resistant so you can curl it and straight it with a a flat iron at a low temperature, I believe the limit is 150 C. It is quite long and allows you to cut it and alternate it to fit you own style. I have tweezed the front for it to match my hairline and give it a more natural hairline. If you search on youtube you will find lots tutorials on how to install your lace front for a natural look. There are different ways to make the wig stick. You can use tape, wig glue or do a sew in. A sew in works better for me since I want to grow out my natural hair so this works as a perfect protective hairstyle. My wig is bought in store but I have looked up similar ones for you guys here and here.

I probably will order some more wigs soon, this was so much fun!

You can order your own wig here here.

Utility Coat

Isn’t it just beautiful? I’m in love with this coat. Every wardrobe should have a spring/summer coat and this one for me is perfect. Love the fact that it’s collar less and the linne allows it to get wrinkly and still look good. Inspired by and old utility coat from the factorys in the 50’s it gives it that relaxed look.

Check it out here at Hopes web shop.

#100daysofhair with Babyliss

Today I’m gonna share with you guys in collaboration with Babyliss how I straighten my afro hair.

ipro230steam_chrystelle ipro230steam_chrystelle

I used my new ipro 230 steam straightner. It straightens the hair with steam witch moisturize the hair while straightening. You can set the temperature from 170 to 230 C. It’s really easy to work with.

I start by washing and conditioning the hair. After a blow dry I section the hair into 4 parts and start straightening and blowing out one section a time with a detangling brush.

After the blow out I straighten the hair just like when I did the blow out I section the hair i smaller sections before going trough withe the flat iron.

Halfway there!

All done! To set the hair I set the blowdryer to cold and run it through the hair.

Last step is a little trim with the scissors.

Voila all done! Check out and #100daysofhair on instagram for more styling tips with Babyliss. In collaboration with Babyliss.
